An anonymous artist known only by his artwork and mysterious name, DOT DOT DOT‘s brand of hyper-realism in art makes for amazing eye candy.
The ordinary is made extraordinary by this artist, rendered in dazzling color on canvas and buildings alike.
“If it dies, it’s biology; if it blows up, it’s chemistry;
if it doesn’t work, it’s physics!”
As quoted from grafitti on a bathroom wall.”
― John Wilkes
Norway’s own, DOT DOT DOT (DOT³?) has been active in art at least since the 90’s; no one really knows his age or name.
He began with graffiti — getting his space in the spotlight after painting a rat in a town near Oslo.
His work often strikes a chord in politics and society. Satirical concepts are common DOT DOT DOT staples in his graffiti.
He’s gone on to produce numerous exceptional works of art, many of which have been featured in galleries and museums worldwide.
“if we want to achieve greatness stop asking for permission” — Eddie Colla
DOT DOT DOT doesn’t stop at mere paintings though; his installation art pieces are striking as well and overtly thought-provoking.
His ability to loyally depict images in acute detail is standout and spectacular. Check out some of his beautiful work.
