Tony Cragg, a British sculptor with an unusual and distinctive style has made a name for himself in the art community for many years.
His work gradually grew from peculiar arrangements of items to striking, modern and minimalist sculptures.

Cragg began with installation art as his main focus. During the 80’s, his interests shifted and he found himself developing a line of sculptures in multiple materials.
In the 90’s, he established what would come to be his main lines of sculptures to date, the “Early Forms” and the “Rational Beings.” These sculptures carry very organic forms with variations and details that make them seem both alien and familiar.

Often, his sculptures repeat certain simple shapes, such as discs, over and over again — spawning abstract structures with intriguing silhouettes.
