Oddz Finance concludes a successful security audit by leading Blockchain security firm PeckShield
The nascent DeFi industry is suspected to be vulnerable. To drive the industry’s maturity, it is important to integrate efficient and robust security infrastructure to protect the interest of platform users. Understanding these aspects in truest sense, Oddz Finance is thrilled to announce that it is integrating PeckShield in its ecosystem to evaluate the correctness of the smart contract code, thus enhancing the overall security of the platform.
Reinforcing high-level of safety to fuel mainstream adoption.
PeckShield evaluated the Oddz token on the aspects related to compatibility of ERC20 specifications and other ERC20 vulnerabilities. It deeply evaluated the coding practices and business logics. While high level vulnerabilities were out of the radar, the identification of minor bugs and low-severity issue was promptly addressed by the audit team.
The leading blockchain security company, PeckShield employs a OWASP Risk rating mechanism that evaluates on various aspects. Firstly, it considers the likelihood of vulnerability in the smart contract, secondly the impact measures the damage of a successful attack and lastly the criticality of the malicious threat. The PeckShield team reviewed the smart contract code-base and also performed ERC20 Compliance Checks to validate the room of any inconsistency or incompatibility while deploying the smart contract.
The examination also extended its purview by analyzing certain incompatibility with DeFi Protocols and its implementation. This was primarily important while considering the long-term development of the platform and the value propositions it aims to impart. Therefore, the findings were limited to minor implementation and constructive feedback to enhance the technicality of the platform.
