February & March 2022
Gm frens!
We’ve been grinding to bring the best features on the Oddz platform. We missed the February newsletter report for some reason, however, this report covers the major updates that we saw in February and March 2022. Our journey so far has gone pretty well, with the Oddz — Avalanche mainnet already up and running, as well as the $100,000 mainnet carnival pumping rewards to traders.
Moreover, along with this major launch, we’ve had a lot of exciting things happening in the last month, and the developments have been fantastic. So, without further ado, let’s go over the major updates/events from the past few days.
Oddz Rebranding
We successfully rebranded our Oddz logo and designs into a super cool blue color. Now, we have a cool look with cool features to stay cool in the cryptosphere. In other words, we recreated Harry’s magically Hogwarts, and Alice’s imaginary Wonderland in the cryptoland to serve you better.
Staking Update on BSC Network
We updated the staking rewards on BSC in a move to shift our gears to the Avalanche network. Ultimately, the rewards were reduced to a few thousand tokens per day.
Ascendex Exchange Update
We announced that users could deposit and withdraw Oddz tokens through the Avalanche network on the Ascendex exchange. This has been a small move with a greater impact on our users who can now easily withdraw ODDZ tokens into the Avalanche network.
Multichain(AnySwap) Integration
The Multichain bridge successfully introduced ODDZ tokens, which have been the main driver of our Avalanche network growth. The response from our community to this move has been overwhelmingly favorable, and we are overjoyed.
Avalanche Testnet Bug Bounty Rewards
After a long hustle, we were finally able to filter the genuine feedback on our bug bounty program for Avax testnet and the rewards for the same were announced. A massive $4000 worth of $ODDZ tokens were distributed.
Women’s Day Tribute
Oddz celebrated women’s day by rewarding the community with zero transaction fees on options purchased for users staking 1000+ $ODDZ tokens. The offer is still valid and running successfully.
Introducing Oddz Turkish Community
Oddz launched a Turkish community to power the community aspect of Web3. We believe in providing value to our community, no matter which country they belong to. The Turkish community is just the start as we have plans to launch more region-specific communities so that we can benefit the entire world with potential DeFi derivatives.
Publishing Options v2 Features Blogs
We published detailed blogs on how each of our options v2 features work and how to use each feature to benefit immensely. Options v2 revolves around auto-exercise, auto-compounded staking, secondary market, strategies, and deviation pools feature. All these features were covered in detail with easy analogies.
Oddz Super Supportive Hands Program
We successfully launched our supportive program where we selected a few people based on their content and marketing contribution towards Oddz. Even our core supporters who have been with us for a long time were handpicked by the team for their positive feedback at every stage of Oddz.
A Major Move Towards Avalanche Network
With greater organic traction and rising options trading volume on the Avalanche network, we announced the halting of our staking programs for ODDZ and oUSD
tokens on the BSC network from 21st March 2022 onwards. However, ODDZ-BNB pair staking is still running on the BSC network.
We have had a great time exploring the BSC network but with ongoing trends where Avalanche is leading innovation, we decided to completely move into this ecosystem while only leaving ODDZ-BNB staking live on BSC.
ODDZ Token Anniversary
Oddz celebrated the first anniversary of its ODDZ tokens. With 8000+ token holders, 10+ listings, and 9M+ tokens staked, we have come a long way. All thanks to our dear community members.
Launching Liquidity Mining Program
We announced the launch of the ODDZ liquidity mining program on Kucoin and Gate.io powered by HummingBot. The program will be live for 24 weeks with over $60,000 worth for grabs. You can read more about it here.
Launching $AAVE Options on the Avalanche Mainnet
To cherish the Altcoin season, we announced the launch of $AAVE options on our Avalanche mainnet. Derivatives have huge potential for unlocking trillions of dollars locked in TradFi and bringing derivatives into DeFi is our goal at Oddz. Aave options are just the start as we have a plan to introduce more altcoin options. Stay tuned for the early alpha!
Introducing a Newer Version of Oddz Academy
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” and to keep in line with this goal of educating our users with options, we have come up with a newer version of Oddz Academy. We’ve gone over all of the options basics as well as everything Oddz has to offer. Learn first and then start earning from Oddz.
300+ Options Sold on Avalanche Mainnet
We celebrated the 300 options milestone on Avalanche along with $10.790 Million in total cumulative options trading volume within just a few days of our launch. All this was achieved organically within a short period of time.
The Road Ahead
We have come a long way, making strides in the DeFi space at every point. So, we want to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for being with us on this amazing journey. Talking about our plans down the line, we have a lot of exciting things on our plate for the community. More altcoin options, new blockchain integrations, Oddzverse, new features, and also new products are some of the things lined up as a part of our roadmap for 2022. We also have our team doing brainstorming for new ideas which we also plan to implement further down the road.
