Role Description

ODYNS is hiring a Social Media Executive to join our Hyderabad-based team. The job involves working with the content and brand solutions to generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections with our community of readers. Someone who is currently working in social media or has recently worked in social media. Someone who loves to be in the digital and social media space. He/ she should love ideas and have a creative bent of mind. Hardworking and pro-active, should be able to follow instructions and take ownership of the space. Understands social media, how to manage pages, run campaigns, etc. Very well-versed in English (spoken & written). You get a complete freedom to invent new provided the content speaks to target Audience.

About You:

You’re a social media savvy marketer who lives a part of your life on new-age media platforms and have actively used all of Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Facebook, LinkedIn, Quora,blog, amongst others. You observe and pick up stories and perspectives around you that are often ignored in the regular hustle of life, engaging your audiences with content that is relatable and aspirational at the same time. Conversation building and storytelling comes naturally to you, be it in person or through any online channel. Additionally, you have an inclination towards learning, design and education. The prospect of using your skills and tools to inform, educate, and inspire masses is what you are looking for.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Have a deep understanding of creative formats and trends across social media like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blog, etc
  • Be a thought leader and develop out of the box and first-to-market experiences and content that will drive social conversations and increase sentiment.
  • Should showcase strong storytelling skills.
  • Managing social communities, engaging with fans and followers, providing prompt responses and updates
  • Ensuring that the community is well engaged with the brand
  • Creating content calendars for the social platforms for our clients
  • Creating content/creatives for social networking sites (FB / LI / Twitter / Blogs etc).
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Define the social media positioning, and design and deploy strategies to strengthen the brand and build brand equity.
  • Own and handle the daily activities on the social handles of ODYNS
  • Develop and execute a plan to engage with audiences through the various social properties of ODYNS.
  • Generate content, start, and build conversations on Twitter each day.
  • Create a gripping plan for Instagram Stories and execute the same
  • Use Facebook, Instagram, and other Live tools to engage with users.
  • Maintained social media pages, crafted responses, monitored social presence and escalated opportunities for engagement across.
  • Familiar with Social media tools like Hootsuite, Capitv8, Buffer, Emotional Marketing, Value Headline Analyze, IFTTT, Mailchimp, Facebook in, Paper.li, Twitter Analytics etc.
  • Make ODYNS an active contributor on forums and platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Quora, Reddit, etc— Answer queries and generate interest amongst new communities on platforms mentioned above, various social media groups — Explore new platforms that ODYNS can be active on and engage audiences — Create and execute campaigns for customer education about new and current product offering — Be experimental in approach and explore new channels to create value through content.

Traits

  • Should showcase strong storytelling skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and topics clearly, thoroughly, and succinctly.
  • Hands on experience using Twitter, Reddit, Quora, Instagram, LinkedIn, Blog, etc.
  • Hands on photo and video editing knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in adapting content for digital media platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, exceptional work ethic, team player.
  • Superior research skills to track and predict trends on AI and Chatbots.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 1+ years of experience in Digital Marketing/Digital Agency/Media Company.
  • Demonstrated ability in getting digital campaigns live, providing strategic insights leading to successful performance optimizations and elevating brand impact.
  • Familiarity with digital campaign management and reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media, current local trends in media consumption, marketing opportunities.
  • Experience in social content creation, and social community management is a plus.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:-

  • A curious interest in technology and its future.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Wordpress (other CMS tools), Adobe suite, online editing tools like Canva.
  • Interested in understanding and researching on new age learning methodologies and their applications.
  • Modern and minimal design experience.
