Announcing the Closure of the OEL Foundation

It is with great regret that we announce that the OEL Foundation will be shut down, effective immediately. The Foundation is a non-profit entity, and unfortunately despite the evident goodwill and enthusiasm for an open-source blockchain enterprise architecture for the logistics industry, the Foundation was unable to secure funding.

The development of an enterprise architecture and hosting of a token generation event is a major undertaking, with significant legal, administrative, marketing, and development costs that cannot be avoided. Without capital, the Foundation is forced to cease operations.

The Board of Directors wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project. It was a community effort, and many who donated their time did so freely.

We further thank the Alliance members for their early commitment and support of the vision.

As a token generation event will not be held, all community rewards programs are therefore ended. We thank the participants for their efforts.

Commercial vendors will be contacted in due course.
