Class Structure
Class sizes are typically 8–20 students and aged 3–16 years old.
Full-time teachers work up to 30 hours per week over five days, which consists of about 23 hours of actual teaching hours and about 7 hours of preparation or administrative hours in the office. Learn more about the schedule.
Regarding the curriculum, Kid Castle supplies the teaching materials and the training. However, there is plenty of flexibility for you as an English teacher to curate the learning experience and to plan activities around the lessons. Learn more about the program.
Teacher Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree with minimal 120 hrs of TEFL/TESOL certificate within the classroom training. Learn more about TEFL certificate
- holds a passport from one of the following countries, USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa.
- Clear Criminal Background Check
- Pass Medical Exam — which can also be done in China for a better price.
