Here are a few of the best publications on the Medium publishing network dedicated to poetry (and some are dedicated to other stuff as well). These are all open to your poetic submissions and have some amazing opportunities for the up-and-coming and/or the pro poet. A few are even connected with print publications!

Lit Up

Lit Up is one of the biggest, most popular literary publications out on Medium. They like short stories, poetry, even nonfiction sometimes. Poetry seems to be more readily accepted than some works of short fiction. Read more about their submission guidelines here.

Written Tales

The publication Written Tales obviously has a soft spot for short stories, memoirs, and flash fiction pieces. Founded by Kevin Saitta, it’s also open to practically any form of poetry you can imagine (or can write). Plus, I’m one of the editors. So I’ll treat you in all fairness — because I’m a writer too!
