Devil’s Toy

Complaints of my soul to my mind

Such a cheap price, accepted the lie
Traded my soul to tame my desires
And still walking on the razor’s edge.

I don’t live, I survive
Don’t I think that all what I say
Are wasted words that bring me a disgrace?

I hide the truth under my sleeves
I leave the poor with its own needs.
No matter how deep,
No matter how strong
All of my deeds are temporal
(heard the wrong voice, made the wrong choice
I just live to rejoice)
And never in my life once again
No one will tell me
I could be the devil’s toy.

I would be happy to know if that kind of feelings and thoughts are shared with people. thank you, with love. Benazir.
