The sound of yet another job application being sent.

Will be interested to see what happens with this one. Allegedly this employer is very hot on diversity, inclusivity and equal opportunities. Aren’t they all? According to the law they are or have to be

Well no, in reality they’re not. Strikes me most employers are pretty discriminatory against whatever group you fall into that doesn’t match perfect employment record, nil absence, no health issues or under a certain age.

Sorry if I sound cynical and bitter. It’s hard to remain positive when all you get is the answer no. I can’t even get through the door to an interview, so they don’t get the chance to meet me and to find out that actually I’m really quite a catch.

I fill in the forms and send them off, never to hear from anyone again.
