Bill and Jane Johnson are involved with Children’s Theatre Company in many ways; from long-time patrons (who, like a large percentage of our audience, began attending without children), to Board membership and donors, to now as Producing Sponsors for our production of The Hobbit.

“CTC has been an important part of our lives,” stated Bill and Jane. “We began attending productions at CTC when we were just dating, and we’ve now been married 42 years, so we have a very long-standing commitment to the theatre.” When they began a family of their own, they kept up their tradition by expanding their full season subscription, as well as their involvement. “We remember the joy of bringing our own children to plays at CTC and look forward to sharing the same joy with our grandchildren. We are proud of the vision and work of the leadership and staff of CTC in making a difference in children’s lives and in the life of the community.”

The Producing Sponsorship program offers a meaningful way to join CTC’s commitment to creating world-class theatre for multigenerational audiences. This program provides direct and critical support for a specific title in our season, and amplifies the production level beyond what we can accomplish without such generosity. Bill and Jane reflected, “We are pleased to be Producing Sponsors of The Hobbit, and look forward to watching the production come to life as only CTC can do it. We hope you will join us as donors so that CTC can continue to produce the most extraordinary, inspiring theatre for young people in the country.”
