We would like to learn more about going off-grid.

What does it mean? What do you have to do, to go off-grid? What does it take? Why should you go off-grid? What if you don’t want to go off-grid, can I do something else to help the environment.

First the class went to a lecture with Andrea Hejlskov, she went off-grid in 2011. She told how she did it and how she got the idea. She told about the way she lives and how her lifestyle is good for the environment. After that, we went searching on the internet to find out more about her and off-grid. We searched the internet for more information on helping the environment and wrote some blog post.

We have learnt a lot about going off-grid, it is clearly better for the environment to go off-grid. You don’t use as much electricity or water and you don’t have as much CO2 emission.

If you don’t want to go off-grid, there is still some things you can do to help the environment, maybe live in an environment country town, buy fair trade, or change some things in your life so you don’t hurt the environment so much.
