The phrase “a mile wide and an inch deep,” which now refers to a jack-of-all-trades type with minimal skill in multiple subjects, arose from a light-hearted description of Colorado’s Platte River, from late-19th century humorist, Edgar Wilson Nye.

Though the internet, social media, and digital communication were decades away at the time Nye was writing, that phrase is a perfect warning for marketers of what not to do when it comes to digital tactics. There are dozens of tools to for digital marketers to choose from, and just as one goes out of style, three more take its place. Because of that, choosing a strong, reliable arsenal of marketing tools can be overwhelming.

At FormAssembly, We provide one powerful form-building solution. Though we have multiple features and integrations, our focus is simple: Help organizations drive business and productivity with better, more streamlined data collection.

In order to keep our marketing just as focused and in-depth as our product, we’re cutting back on some tools that aren’t as efficient a use of our time. One of those is Medium. We hope you’ve enjoyed our articles here on Medium, but this will be our final post, at least for now.

We’ll be continuing to publish articles on our blog, so head on over and be sure to sign up for updates.
