A great experience: my internship with Villarreal CF
Working in a football club seems like a dream to many football fans. I’m Ivy from University of Macao, currently working as an intern in international department of Villarreal CF. Six weeks is not a long time neither a short time, I learned many things about football, Villarreal CF and La Liga during this period. First week we did research about this football club, La Liga and Chinese Super League and did some comparison between Chinese football market and European football market. Through research we see the differences of Chinese and European football competition system and differences of training young footballer system between China and Europe.
In addition, every week we have one day that work in Vila-real, during that day we would go visit the training places, living places of Villarreal CF’s footballers and also the Estadio de la Cerámica. It’s amazing to know the history and good records of Villarreal CF through visiting those places which we can feel the passion and Endavant spirit of this football club. Besides, one day after work in Vila-real, we went to the training ground to watch the first team’s training. It was really exciting to watch those footballers’ daily training! And they play football really well! Such a wonderful experiences to watch those footballers training.
Besides those, our main job in Villarreal CF is to translate the medium pages into Chinese. Through translating, I know more about this club, the comeback king — coach Javier Calleja, the Villarreal legend — Marcos Senna and also the story of Villarreal’s legendary run in the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League. Also, we got the chance to write posts of Villarreal CF official Weibo about Chinese Festivals.
The interns of this club are from all over the world, I get to know many new friends from different countries. We would talk about our cultural differences and know other country’s cultural. We went to see the training together and visited the football pitch together, many of them are football fans. I can see their exciting when watching the training and see the footballers they like.
Above all, it is a great experience to be an intern at Villarreal CF which broaden my horizon, let me obtained knowledge about football and give me the chance meet new friends from different countries. This summer vacation is different and meaningful, I will cherish the memory of this period of internship. Thanks a lot, I had a great time here!
在足球俱乐部工作似乎是许多球迷的梦想。我来自澳门大学，目前在比利亚雷亚尔国际部实习。 6周不说长不长，说短也不短，我在这期间学到了许多关于足球，比利亚雷亚尔俱乐部和西甲的事情。第一周，我们在网上收集关于这个足球俱乐部，西甲和中超联赛的资料，并对中国足球市场和欧洲足球市场进行了比较。通过资料收集，我们看到了中欧足球比赛制度的差异以及中欧青少年足球运动员制度培养的差异。
此外，每周我们都有一天在Vila-real小镇上工作，在那一天我们会去参观比利亚雷亚尔足球运动员的培训场所，生活区域以及陶瓷球场。通过参观我们可以感受到这个足球俱乐部的激情和“一直向前”的精神，了解比利亚雷亚尔的历史和好的成绩，真是太棒了。此外，有一次在Vila-real工作结束后，我们去训练场观看了一队的训练。观看这些足球运动员的日常训练真是令人兴奋！他们踢足球真的很棒！观看这些足球运动员训练真的是一种种美妙体验。
除此之外，我们在比利亚雷亚尔的主要工作是将媒体页面翻译成中文。通过翻译，使我对这个俱乐部有了进一步的了解，复出之王 — 主教练哈维尔·卡列哈，比利亚雷亚尔传奇 — 马科斯·塞纳以及比利亚雷亚尔在2005/06赛季欧洲冠军联赛中的传奇故事。此外，我们的任务还有撰写关于中国节日的比利亚雷亚尔CF官方微博的帖子。
这个俱乐部的实习生来自世界各地，我结识了许多来自不同国家的新朋友。我们会谈论我们的文化差异，了解其他国家的文化。我们一起去看训练，一起参观了足球场，他们其中很多都是足球迷。我可以看到他们在观看训练时还有看到他们喜欢的足球运动员那种激动和兴奋的心情。
总的来说，成为比利亚雷亚尔的实习生是一个很好的经历，它拓宽了我的视野，让我获得了有关足球的知识，让我有机会结识来自不同国家的新朋友。这个暑假是不同的并且有意义的，我会好好珍惜实习期间的这段美好回忆。非常感谢，我在这度过了一段美好时光！
