MoU Partnership Signed with Infinity Blockchain Ventures
We’ve signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with with Infinity Blockchain Ventures (IBV) to establish a partnership in marketing and other media affairs. This partnership covers the IBV publication, Asia Blockchain Review, one of the largest publications focused on building a media-based community around blockchain technology in Asia, featuring thought-leadership blockchain content and interviews with blockchain startup teams based in Asia. IBV has previously worked with EmurgoHK, a venture builder for the Cardano blockchain protocol.
Rate3 a Top 10 IOST node by Annualized Return Yield
Our Rate3 Servi node has been a live block producer for the IOST blockchain for around the past two months now, on top of having built a cross-chain Dapp (http://istablecoin.io) allowing for stablecoin swaps between Ethereum and IOST.
Nodes are rewarded based on their reliability, as well as on the added value which they bring to the IOST ecosystem. We were previously awarded a Tier 2 contribution score during IOST’s Contribution Reward System for Q1, resulting in an award of 210,959 IOST tokens, of which 50% were distributed as dividends to those who have voted for the Rate3 node.

Tether now made interoperable with IOST blockchain via Rate3
Earlier this month we also announced that Tether support has been added to our iStablecoin Dapp.
Moving Tether tends to be slow, and also with the limitation of it being non-programmable (and therefore incompatible with smart contracts). Through Rate3 iStablecoin’s swap service, we’ve helped mitigate those drawbacks by enabling Tether to leverage upon IOST’s advantages of fast transaction speeds and programmability functions for its tokens.
