We’ll swap you RTE for some of your creativity
Last week, we unveiled our Rate3 Cross-Chain Swap MVP, a simple-to-use demonstration for moving tokens back-and-forth between Ethereum and Stellar!

We also announced our IOST iStablecoin service — bringing cross-chain stablecoins to the IOST ecosystem.
- This will correspond nicely with the launch of the IOST mainnet (slated for Feb 25th), where we’ll also be deploying our IOST iStablecoin service
We’d like more people to become aware of these developments. We’d like them to seamlessly experience cross-chain swaps first-hand. We’d like to share this with the wider crypto-community — and for that we’re turning to you via this contest!
Contest Details
- Create a short GIF that will consist of Part I: a screen capture of them using the Rate3 Cross-Chain swap, followed by Part II: something engagingly creative (memes are more than welcome!).
- Combined, this GIF should be no longer than 15 seconds. Some suggestions for tools to make GIFs include ScreenToGIF, EZGIF.com and LICEcap
- Contestants will need to include with their GIF their swap transaction hash URL (from either Etherscan or Stellar Explorer), such as: https://ropsten.etherscan.io/tx/0x1bc80241df81621dbc5114596d532552ec4aa5b4e2dcad2d5aff3e0348c1d31c
SUBMIT by tweeting @OfficialRate3 your GIF along with your transaction hash URL
- We will be collating submissions from Feb 4th up until Mar 3rd 2359 SGT (UTC +8). So long as it comes in prior to this deadline, the date of your submission will not take be weighed into the evaluation, so take your time!
- This will correspond nicely with the launch of the IOST mainnet (slated for Feb 25th)
Prize Details
- Three winners will obtain a grand prize of 100,000 RTE
- Seven other winners will obtain a prize of 30,000 RTE
- Winners will be determined based on the discretion of the Rate3 team
