SigEp welcomes two social media interns

Earlier this month, our Marketing & Communications team began searching for undergraduate brothers who could help contribute to SigEp’s social media efforts.

Many brothers from across the country applied. Each had a different skill set and a unique passion for the Fraternity. At the end of the selection process, we realized that we needed more than one intern. So, we’re proud to welcome TWO new interns to our team!

Chantry Carroll, Murray State ’17

Hometown: Murray, KY

Major: Nonprofit leadership & Spanish double major

What’s your favorite aspect of social media? My favorite aspect of social media is how much it affects and influences our daily lives and how it has changed society (hopefully for the better).”

What are you hoping to gain from this internship? “I’m hoping to gain experience from working with headquarters staff and having such a large platform with thousands of followers.”

Interesting Fact: “I went an entire week of eating only pizza. (It was finals week… so life was rough.)”

What’s your favorite aspect of social media? “It has the ability to connect with people and it is through that connection that fosters growth and the power of change.”

What are you hoping to gain from this internship?A chance to connect and have a deeper understanding and love for this fraternity from hearing the stories from brothers I may never actually meet!”
