Let’s take a look at some of the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on D.G.P: Legends:
Q1. How do I login to D.G.P: Legends
First, you’ll have to create an account on our website at dgpals.io. Once you’ve managed to log in with your Metamask wallet, you can then scroll down the main page and click on the D.G.P: Legends logo!
Caution! After launching the game, do note that you should not share your full URL with others as it includes your personal access token. For example, the game URL will be https://legends.dgpals.io/?gameToken={xxxxx} (the gameToken is a long string with over 400 characters). DO NOT SHARE (or copy/paste) this game token or URL with others. We will be working this private by default, in the upcoming updates.
Q2. What can I do in D.G.P: Legends?
In the current BETA build, players can participate in PvP battles, level up D.G.Pals, and earn $OPLs from the Quest System.
Q3. How many NFTs do I need to have to participate in D.G.P: Legends?
To participate in Legends, you will need to have a minimum of 5 different D.G.Pals to set up a PvP team.
Q4. Can I use D.G.Pal NFTs of the same design in the same team for Legends?
To allow the D.G.Pals team to capture data for each D.G.Pal’s performance in battle during this phase of BETA, you must have 5 different D.G.Pals to set up a team. You currently cannot use duplicate D.G.Pals in the same team as having duplicates may have unintended implications from a game design perspective. In addition, Ultra Rare D.G.Pal NFTs cannot be used for PvP battles currently, but will play an important and unique role in the future.
Q5. Can Limited Edition NFTs be used in Legends?
For now, Limited Edition NFTs are not available for use in Legends Beta. They will be added in future updates.
Q6. How do I participate in PvP battles?
You can select a team of 5 D.G.Pal NFTs from your NFT collection and save them as a team. Currently, only one team can be saved, but more team configurations/saves will be allowed in future updates. Once you have selected the team, they will appear on the main screen. To start a PvP battle, click “Quick Game”. You will be matched randomly against another player or NPC team, and it will be in the format of an auto-battler. During battles, all D.G.Pals follow their own patterns of attacks and skills. Ultimate skills will be casted when the energy bar is filled via attacking or receiving damage. A battle is concluded when one team has been defeated.
Q7. Do my D.G.Pals get EXP if I lose the battle?
All participating D.G.Pals will earn EXP regardless of the battle outcome.
Q8. What is the stamina feature?
Each D.G.Pal NFT will have a Stamina bar. D.G.Pals participating in PvP will consume stamina each battle. Once the stamina bar reaches zero, they will not be able to earn EXP, even if those NFTs can continue to be used in PvP battles. The stamina bar will be reset daily.
Q9. How do I level my NFTs up?
In order to level up, our D.G.Pal NFTs can earn EXP from participating in PvP battles. The maximum level an NFT can reach is 30. There will be a cap every 5 levels, and players will need to use OPL to unlock them to continue levelling up, increase the stamina cap, and gain talents (talents will not be available during the initial launch of the BETA). Throughout this month, players can unlock the level cap for free to test.
Q10. Is the same amount of EXP required to level up D.G.Pal NFTs of different rarity?
More EXP will be required to level up NFTs with a higher rarity. The amount of EXP required to level up NFTs will follow this order (R > E > G > O). Ultra Rare NFTs do not earn EXP or level up.
Q11. Can I still keep the progress/level of the NFTs if I transfer/sell my NFTs to a different account?
When a D.G.Pal NFT is moved/traded to another account, the EXP and level of that D.G.Pal NFT will be reset.
Q12. What can I do with my Inventory?
You can access the Inventory to check out your NFTs and their progress. Information such as level, stats, skills and ultimates will be shown in the Inventory when you select a particular NFT. In addition, you can remove the level cap of your NFTs every 5 levels from the Inventory.
Q13. How does the Quest System work?
There are Daily Quests and Weekly Quests to allow players to earn $OPL (Panterra Opals).
Daily Quests will be reset daily at 12AM UTC+8, while Weekly Quests will be reset at 12AM UTC+8, every Monday.
Q14. How many categories of the quests that I can unlock in the Quest System?
For Daily Quests, each Daily Quest will be tied to each individual NFT, and depending on the number of NFTs you have, you will have the corresponding number of Daily Quests. You can collect $OPL once you have successfully completed the Daily Quest.
There are 3 different categories of Weekly Quests per D.G.Pal account.
For the Standard Weekly Quest, there are a maximum of 4 different tiers to unlock. Explorers will need to have at least 5 D.G.Pal NFTs (of any type and rarity) to unlock the first tier, and a new tier gets unlocked for having 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 D.G.Pal NFTs respectively. At any time, players can only complete the quest and earn rewards from the highest tier, corresponding to the number of NFTs that they own.
Players can unlock an Ultra Rare and Genesis Weekly Quest if they own Ultra Rare and Genesis D.G.Pal NFTs respectively! You will get to unlock additional random UR and Genesis Quests (1 per account per week) if you have at least 1 Ultra Rare and/or Genesis D.G.Pal NFT.
Weekly quests will reset, with a new set of quests becoming available every week.
Q15. Will I get access to Daily Quests and Weekly Quests immediately after purchasing D.G.Pal NFTs?
For Daily Quests, as quest completion is tied to each D.G.Pal NFT, if someone buys the NFT in the middle of the day and the previous owner hasn’t completed the quest for that NFT, the new owner/player can complete the quest and earn reward from that daily quest. If the Daily Quest has been completed before the transaction takes place, then there will be a one calendar day cooldown (reset at 12AM UTC+8 daily) before you can see new Daily Quests for your newly purchased NFTs. For Weekly Quests, there will be a one calendar week cooldown (reset at 12AM UTC+8, Monday) before you can count your new NFTs towards the requirement for Weekly Quests.
Q16. Will I get to keep the progress of my NFTs at the end of the testing period on 30th June?
The EXP of your NFTs will be reset at the end of June.
