Offshift is pleased to announce that we will be officially hosting the crypto-asset space’s inaugural blockchain-themed Capture the Flag (CTF) hackathon event on Saturday, January 23.

The event will span a full week, during which participating teams will compete to solve more than twenty unique challenges across six categories, including:

  1. Web
  2. Server Pwn
  3. Reversing
  4. Blockchain
  5. Miscellaneous
  6. Crypto

The event is open to individual participants and teams alike, and challenges will cater to a wide spectrum of ability; some will require only an elementary skillset, while others will demand advanced proficiency.

The individual or team that captures the most flags — that is, receives the most points from completing challenges of varying difficulties — will be deemed the victor. In addition, any team that solves a challenge will be eligible to receive a portion of the $5,000 purse that is dedicated to the event.

We would like to give a special thank you to the Xatha CTF Hacking Team, whose team members are organizing and managing the event.

For more information, check out our live event, join the 0x41414141 CTF Discord, or click ahead to our dedicated event page on CTF Time.
