OGQ’s mission is to create a better ecosystem for creators creating various digital content such as stickers, images, illustrations, and sound sources. Creators from different paths in life, including students, office workers, and freelancers, create and upload their creations here and there. Since most creators work alone, they don’t have a designated space to discuss and share their thoughts and ideas. With this in mind, OGQ has created OGQ Creator Blog within OGQ Creator Studio. What is a UCI code and why is it issued to every piece of content uploaded to OGQ?
The Universal Contents Identifier (UCI) is a national standard content management system that helps to identify content by permanently issuing a specific code to every piece of content. It helps individual creators, businesses, and public institutions effectively distribute and utilize identifiable content assets and prevent copyright infringements. UCI was first introduced in 2008, and by the end of 2019 it was assigned to 320 million pieces of digital content. Many public and private institutions, including the National Assembly Library, the Korea Press Foundation, the Korea Institute of Intellectual Property, SK Telecom and Daewon Broadcasting, were selected and operated as Universal Contents Identifier (UCI) institutions. OGQ also issues UCI codes to every content uploaded to the OGQ Creator Studio. We take rights and interests of our creators seriously!
