“A raunchy spoof edition of Countdown (1982) with the stars of 8 Out of 10 Cats (2005)”

  • First Air Date: 2005
  • Audience Rating: 73% (TMDB)
  • Critical Rating: N/A
  • Genre: Comedy, Panel Shows
  • Bingeability (1–10, subjective): 7 — I eventually became numb to both maths and language. Though the comedy was always top notch.
  • Likeability (1–10, subjective): 8 — a great, funny show. Not sure I’d rewatch it but it’s bloody good.
  • Rewatchability (1–10, subjective): 2. Couldn’t rewatch this, you need to be surprised.

Summary

Listen, if you’ve ever wanted to listen to some of the funniest comics Britain has to offer make off-colour jokes and do maths, this is the show for you. Jimmy Carr is simultaneously one of my favourite hosts and utterly awful. Everyone else is delightful all the time — I don’t think I ever encountered a guest I didn’t like.

This has solid Celebrity Jeopardy vibes honestly. I can imagine Susie talking about Anal Bum Cover very easily.
