When you go to make your profile videos on Ohi, there are several things that you can do to put your best foot forward. Our team has watched thousands of videos and we came together to give you tips on how to make your first impressions really count.

When you are making these videos, think of them as the first meeting. If you were going to meet someone for the first time, what would you look like? What would you wear? Would you spend time fixing your hair, putting on makeup, shaving, etc? If the answer is yes, do this for your videos. First impressions go a long way.

If you were having someone into your home for the first time, how would you present it and what part of your home would you want this person to see? Once you answer these questions, it might change where and when you record your videos.

The following are a list of tips that might help enhance your videos!

1) Get looking the way you would for a first date.

2) Try going to a part of your house that you are proud of.

3) Go outside to record.

4) Go to your favorite hangout so others can see you in your element.

5) Have a friend or family member record the video for you.

6) Hold the phone in front of your face instead of below it. Know the angles that make you look your best!

7) Introduce us to your friends, family, pets etc.

8) If you play an instrument, play it for a few seconds. If you like to draw, show us a piece of work. If you like bake, show off your latest creation. In other words, introduce us to a little piece of your world. It makes you even more real.
