Why we are falling in love with film photography (again)

This Christmas I dug out some old boxes at my dad’s place and found his dusty 35 year old Minolta 9000. I wanted to experience the classic, analogue way of shooting photos to figure out if all the recent hype simply is grounded in 70’s hipster-nostalgia or if there are more things to the picture (silly pun intended).

Today, 6 rolls of film later, one more film camera richer and overall… a bit poorer — I want to share my reflections and couple of reasons to why I believe so many (including myself) are falling in love with the process…
