From the beach on which Stannis Baratheon rejected the seven gods, to Harry Potter flying over the Thames and Tom Hanks’ Rosslyn chapel — all in the UK. With travelling being severely affected by COVID-19 pandemic, there are not many options left but to explore the UK.

In the next few blog posts, we’ll bring you some of the most famous and most exciting filming locations in the UK. Whether you’re a fantasy fan, an action fan or just in love with more classic ones such as Downton Abbey, we’ll include all of it.

Everyone knows that Gloucester cathedral was used as Hogwarts hall in few Harry Potter movies, or that Kings Cross’ platform 9 ¾ really exists (and that there’s always a queue there).

But it takes a bit of research to know that Batman’s (Christian Bale Batman of course) Wayne manor is also in the UK, and it’s actually free to visit!

Many other films and TV shows were also filmed in the UK with most famous ones being Trainspotting (1996), Pride and Prejudice (2005), Notting Hill (1999), Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001), Paddington (2014), few James Bond movies and many more.
