FoxWallet & OKC AMA Recap

On April 29th, the CMO of FoxWallet, Judy, joined a live Ask Me Anything session on the official OKC Telegram channel and answered questions from the OKC team and the community.

The purpose of the event was to introduce FoxWallet to the OKC Community.

The following is a recap of the AMA.

Everyone may not have a deep understanding of FoxWallet, could you give our community members a more comprehensive knowledge of FoxWallet today.

Judy: FoxWallet is a decentralized mobile wallet known as a Self-Custody Wallet. In other words, both the private key and seed phrases will be stored locally, rather than uploaded to the server.

FoxWallet supports multiple wallets through private key or seed phrase import. Its seed phrase implements such general standards as BIP-32 and SLIP-0044, allowing wallets to support multiple blockchains and achieve compatibility with other wallets (e.g., Metamask and imToken). Multiple accounts can be assigned, each with a unique address.

There must be an excellent team behind such an excellent product. Would you briefly introduce your team?

Judy: Our core team originated from the Filecoin developers’ community. It is a group of blockchain enthusiasts with experience in some of the best global tech companies. Our team has developed Filfox Explorer(https://filfox.info/), Filfox Wallet(https://wallet.filfox.info/), and FoxWallet(https://foxwallet.com/), enriching the Filecoin ecosystem.

There are plenty of Crypto Wallets in the market. What is the advantage of FoxWallet among other wallets?

Judy: FoxWallet aims to keep supporting novel Web3 projects, and our team contains with most powerful technical support.

The Filfox Explorer is also built by our team. Filfox is the most popular block explorer on Filecoin and ranks at the top of the recommended explorer list and FoxWallet is the only audited mobile wallet that’s recommended by Filecoin, which means that excellent tool support can be provided with the help of FoxWallet.

And FoxWallet is the only mobile wallet that supports multi-chains multi-seed-phrase and multi-account. At the same time, FoxWallet fully supports the Filecoin ecosystem, which will benefit FIL holders a lot.

Could you explain more about FoxWallet functions?

Judy: Now FoxWallet is a crypto wallet that provides transfer/receive support. Users can create a new wallet or import a wallet by seed phrase or private key in FoxWallet. And they can also speed up or cancel their pending transaction here.

FoxWallet has supported OKC, Ethereum, Filecoin, BNB Chain, Polygon, Evmos, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Aurora, Aelo, Celo, Cronos, ETC, Fantom, Gnosis, HECO, Moonriver. Users can add custom RPC with the Manage ETH RPC function. The token price and 24H price change are also displayed on FoxWallet. And the Web3 browser in FoxWallet supports integration with these chains so users can log in to some DApps directly.

Besides those basic functions, one of the main features of FoxWallet is fully supporting the Filecoin ecosystem. Users can keep up-to-date with on-chain data and track the latest info of miners. At the same time, FoxWallet has enabled the FIL Faulty Sector Monitor and the FIL Balance Tracking Functions, making it easier for Filecoin miners to manage and track the state of nodes.

And for more functions of Filecoin, you can check https://hc.foxwallet.com/docs/filecoin-advance/

FoxWallet has supported OKC. So what contributes to this collaboration? Could you please share it with us?

Judy: We are excited to share our journey with OKXChain as visions of building web3.0 align in all ways possible. As we all know, OKXChain is a fast, high-performance, open-source smart contract platform backed by OKX to land large-scale digital assets and Dapps. And FoxWallet is a safe and easy-to-use decentralized Web3 wallet dedicated to creating an entrance and connection to the Web3 world. Users can log in to some DApps built on OKXChain directly through FoxWallet. We work together to empower the OKXChain ecology and Web3 World.

Are there any new functions to be released in the coming days or a roadmap to share?

Judy: We will continue to focus on mobile. On one hand, we will continue to provide comprehensive support to the Filecoin ecosystem and, in particular, to the soon-to-launch FVM smart contract system. Functions like contract authorization management, base fee monitoring reminder, and more scientific gas priority fee forecast will go live in Q2. In the meantime, we will keep exploring promising new chains, such as BTC, Qtum, Terra, Solana, DFINITY, StarkNet, zkSync and Aleo. And more financial products will be listed in FoxWallet.

We aim to serve as a better choice for the entrance to the Web3 world, where users can obtain both professional and secure digital asset services and have both smooth and comfortable experiences in the Web3 era. If you are interested in FoxWallet, you can download it from the official website: foxwallet.com.

FoxWallet will add some financial products. It will be helpful if you could share more details with us.

Judy: FoxWallet aims to keep supporting novel blockchain projects with mining features, including hardware mining and staking as mining, providing users with a safe and stable mobile wallet experience and mining-related tech services. ICP, FIL and ETH2.0 Staking, etc., are all on the drawing board. You could expect everything from FoxWallet, such as a deposit to earn, Gamefi, NFT.
