OKT Chain Boosts Cross-Chain Infrastructure with WasmVM Integration
We are thrilled to announce the integration of WebAssembly (Wasm) technology as part of achieving our multi-Virtual Machines (VM) vision for OKT Chain (OKTC).
OKTC is the first single public network that supports both Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Wasm Virtual Machine (WasmVM), along with a native bridge module capable of automatically translating KIP20 assets to CW20 assets and vice versa, enabling a highly innovative approach to contract interactions. This demonstrates our commitment to continuous development with exceptional engineering capabilities.
With the integration of Wasm technology now, OKTC will continue to innovate and provide a platform that empowers developers to build the next generation of dApps.
What is Wasm?
Wasm is a binary format that uses a stack-based virtual machine. It serves as a portable compilation target for programming languages, making it easy to deploy client and server applications on the web or use it as a virtual machine on blockchain.
On top of supporting EVM, the integration of Wasm compiles different languages into a single standard that can be executed across different platforms.
