Last month, OKX announced its latest public chain project — OKB Chain (OKBC). OKBC is positioned as an Ethereum Layer 2 network: starting with sidechain technology and gradually evolving to a Layer 2 scaling solution based on ZK.
Meanwhile, our team at OKX will continue to grow and develop the OKTC / OKT Chain (previously known as OKC/OKX Chain) ecosystem. Various tasks are actively underway, such as supporting Wasm, exploring innovative consensus models, and state sharding. Adhering to our technology-driven philosophy, we will continue to enhance our technology capabilities and expand our evergrowing ecosystems, so our OKX Web3 community can look forward to bigger brand initiatives in the future.

Offline Events
OKX Hachathon
On March 24th-26th, OKX and Google Cloud hosted the OKX Hackathon, a three-day event aimed at getting developers to build decentralized applications on OKT Chain. The event was held in person in Silicon Valley with teams of developers building innovative solutions using OKX’s cutting-edge technology. With a packed agenda of speeches, tech office hours, and raffles, the event provided ample opportunities for participants to learn, collaborate, and innovate.
Out of more than 400 participants from Canada, the Bay Area, Seattle, New York, and other regions, 12 teams made it to the finals, and five teams have been chosen as winners. We will continue to deliver great Hackathon experience for all hackers in the future!

Salad Tuesdays #25
We had an awesome time at Salad Tuesdays #25, organized by Salad Ventures. The turnout was incredible, with many people from the tech and blockchain worlds in attendance. Met so many interesting people and made some great connections. We had lively conversations about the future of blockchain technology and its potential to revolutionize the digital landscape. It was an amazing experience, and we look forward to the next one!
