Even the most seasoned of Token Sale contributors could fall victim to scams.

The OkeyDokey team wants to inform our contributors of the most common dangers related to token sales to ensure that you don’t lose your digital funds to digital thieves.

Wallet phishing websites
The first and probably biggest danger are phishing websites. Messages containing links to these sites are widely shared on the internet and the phishing sites usually look similar to popular wallet sites (i.e. MyEtherWallet). Clicking these links will bring you to a fraud website, which will steal your personal info once you have used your private key there.

Fake token sale sites
The second danger is fake “twin” token sale sites. Fake token sale sites will have identical designs to that of the original token sale sites, but the addresses are ever so slightly changed which make them almost imperceptible to users.

Social media scammers
Scammers use social media to spread their scams at a scary speed. Using Twitter, Facebook and Telegram they send fraudlant messages on behalf of the channel/group administrators, persuading users to participate in fake token sales and send transactions to the provided, fruadulant addresses.

Hackers
There are thousands of hackers globally all trying to attack token sale projects, attempting to obtain access to social media and e-mail accounts. They send out messages and spoofed e-mails to obtained community lists which look official and urge funds to be sent to their crypto wallet.

OKeyDokey are reaching out to everyone already involved or thinking of being a part of this exciting project

Be extra vigilant with the messages you receive from unknown senders, claiming to be a part of the OkeyDokey team;

Pay attention to all the links being shared and never visit these websites that look even slightly suspicious;

Always double check that the website you are going to visit has correct address. If you are not sure, enter it manually andbookmark the websites correct address.

We have heard of some reports about a fake MyEtherWallet app on Google Play. It is said to steal your personal data and token keys so please be aware and check your app before using it.

The OkeyDokey Team will NEVER ask you for a private ETH transfer or ask your personal data! We will NEVER share any ETH adresses for contribution on social media or via e-mails.

The ONLY address where we will list for ETH transfer will be on our website https://www.okeydokey.network

It is good practice to always check that you are on the https://www.okeydokey.network site before continuing on to the token sale.

We also recommend using 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) whenever possible.

The OkeyDokey team despises any fraudulent activity as listed above in any shape or form and we suspend any asccount that we deem suspicious.

Stay vigilant.

Best,

OkeyDokey
