Olam’s Far East tour was awesome.
These past two weeks were hectic for the Foundation. It started with two main conferences offered by The Korea Blockchain Week — Beyond Blocks and Partner Summit, which were both not only super fruitful for our global domination endeavors, but also really fun. Then in addition, there were several meet-ups and social events we attended, in which we learned that the Korean blockchain community is buzzing at full volume right now. Olam had the chance to speak to a large crowd of participants and engage with 50 other influential voices from all around the world. Several other related yet more concentrated social events, including the high-profile “FoundationX Night” and “Blockchain Partner Summit, were memorable to say the least.
Thank you to everyone who came by and met with us, and apologies to anyone who we were unable to meet with in time — we will be back soon!
Right after the closing of the events, we finally got some sleep.
Just kidding! Olam does not sleep: Foundation representatives flew overnight to Beijing to meet with several local funds, blockchain enthusiasts and other public and private individuals excited about the #InternetOfLogistics project. Our very own Thomas Kofler was given the opportunity at BlockchainIL’s crypto meetup to present at the crowd, a presentation that was very well received. Go get em’ Tom!
Finally, Olam went this week to Shanghai for another Blockchain IL meetup where we were fortunate enough to meet some great people from the local and global blockchain scene. Shanghai is the #1 port city in the world in terms of container volume, so visiting was always a must considering our aims. We will surely be back in in Shanghai very (very very) soon.
