PREMIERE | Alexa Friedman Struts With Style on ‘Take Me Down’
Singer-songwriter and actress Alexa Friedman premieres the music video for “Take Me Down,” on Medium. In her interview with TheYoungFolks, Alexa told Ashley Bulayo, “’Take Me Down’ is about the cyber bullies and how they will ‘never take me down.’”
Alexa made big waves with the release of her first single, “Enraptured,” followed by “Meant to Be,” a song about growth and moving forward in life. In the video, shot on the beach, Alexa dazzled in her role as a mermaid.
While growing up, Alexa was surrounded by music. At the age of four, she began singing, dancing, and writing plays, recruiting friends to perform with her. Later, she entered modeling, followed by acting, landing roles in popular TV shows: The Middle, School of Rock, and Walk the Plank. When she started working with voice coach Estani Frizzell, her innate vocal talent and confidence expanded exponentially. Music assumed new significance.
