Hello from Shanghai!
Today the Olam Foundation participated in the Blockchain IL meetup event in Shanghai, during which VP of Strategic Business Thomas Kofler introduced Olam’s logistics infrastructure project, aka Internet of Logistics. Blockchain enthusiasts, crypto specialists, contributors and other startups took part in this wonderful event.
Olam’s presentation was very well received and scored high in the eyes of investors and the general informed audience. The impact of blockchain on the logistics and supply chain industry is overwhelming and can no longer be denied in any serious capacity. The abundance of opportunity to finally change traditional processes and procedures in this industry, which has somehow resisted widespread innovation for several decades, is tremendous.
Our non-for profit organization is developing an open-source platform and marketplace for all logistics and supply chain stakeholders globally, to be the cornerstone for a new era of data and information exchange along the physical movement of goods — thanks to recent developments in blockchain technology.
