New board members, new whitepaper, and hello from Tokyo!
We are proud to announce that Former CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Thomas Nieszner, has joined Olam Foundation! This latest addition to Olam’s all-star board is exciting to say the least; Nieszner has decades of in depth administrative experience in supply chains, and as a CEO and senior advisor for the largest international courier service company on the planet, he certainly provides an enlightening view of the industry’s greatest challenges.
These partnerships are invaluable not only for their extensive insight, but also in order to keep Olam’s goal of creating solutions carefully tailored for the market: Olam’s non-disruptive approach means we believe in listening and catering to industry’s needs, instead of dictating them.

On a related note: Olam is in Tokyo, Japan! Speaking today at The Japan Blockchain Conference (JBC TOKYO 2018) is Olam’s Foundation’s very own, Professor Tetsuya Osaka.
Osaka is Senior Research Professor and Director of the Institute for Research Organization for Nano & Life Innovation at Waseda University in Tokyo. Osaka is lecturing on the topic of nano-technologies and cryptocurrency/blockchain technologies. If you are at the conference please feel free to come by and say hello to the Olam delegation!

Finally, Olam’s Foundation’s website has been updated, woohoo! Users can now view our restructured whitepaper (available in English and Chinese, with more languages to come), as well as other documentation. The whitepaper also includes a much more detailed breakdown of Olam’s token model, which everyone has been eagerly waiting for 😊. In addition to documents’ reconstruction, we’ve given the LIVE PoC viewer a general facelift and invite readers to check it out if you haven’t already (or if you have).
