Announcement: OliveX & RCFC Official Press Conference
The leaders of OliveX and Resources Capital Football Club Ltd (RCFC) will reveal their plans for Asia’s first football non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles auction on 25th Aug 2021.
Keith Rumjahn, Harry Tang and Hanson Wong will be joined by the RCFC team, including captain Lam Chun Kit.
“We’ll reveal when and how the sets of limited edition collectibles will be put up for auction and how fans and collectors can get involved.’ said Keith Rumjahn, Founder and CEO, OliveX. “As a fast-growing digital health and fitness company based in Hong Kong, it’s important for us to support our local sports teams and athletes, so it gives us great pleasure to sign this NFT deal with RCFC, a local football team playing in the Hong Kong Premier League.”
Harry Tang, Chairman, Resources Capital Football Club, said:
“’Dare to challenge’ is RCFC’s club motto, which aligns perfectly with OliveX’s vision of creating a fitness metaverse where its platforms enable real-world fitness to merge with the digital universe.
“Our RCFC NFTs will offer the Hong Kong community a meaningful and brand-new way for them to support their local sports team and extend their allegiance to the club into their digital universe and lives. They’ll deliver on fans’ desire to own a unique piece of the club and its history.
This Resources Capital Football Club Ltd NFT deal comes soon after OliveX’s founding shareholder, Animoca Brands, announced a number of its own NFT and digital assets rights deals with Manchester City men’s and women’s teams, Melbourne City FC and Queens Park Rangers FC.
