Olson Zaltman (OZ) is proud to announce a $25,000 gift to the University of Pittsburgh College of Business Administration (CBA).

The Olson Zaltman CBA Student Scholarship Fund will assist students interested in careers in market research. Specifically, it will provide funding for students in need of financial help due to unforeseen circumstances or those who come from historically underrepresented groups.

“This gift is going to have an immediate impact,” according to Jessica Stillman, Director of Development at Pitt Business. “It’s also so important that it is going to play into our goal in helping in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion space.”

“Giving back to our community has always been important to Olson Zaltman,” according to OZ CEO Lindsay Zaltman. “Furthermore, as a company founded by professors, higher education is in our DNA. We are so pleased to work with the University of Pittsburgh, particularly on a DEI initiative, which can make a huge impact in helping students pursue their dreams.”

OZ’s Hannibal Brooks and Malcolm Brooks raised the idea of making a gift such as this, with an eye toward promoting more diversity in the market research field.

“We believe that diverse perspectives enrich the world of insights immeasurably — to see hidden trends you need a unique slate of thinkers,” said Hannibal Brooks. “Being able contribute to the development of these underrepresented talents is the gift that keeps on giving, as our business environment will only get brighter when their brilliance is given a chance to shine.”

This gift is one of 25 Gifts of Impact that Pitt Business secured during a 2022 campaign, which marked the 25th anniversary of the college.
