Important Announcement!
2018 will be a monumental year for Olympus Labs. We have released the beta version of our mobile app, and our developers are hard at work creating our initial financial products. We also have several exciting partnerships and events to look forward to in Q1.
World Tour Update:
February in particular is a big month for Olympus, as we will be presenting our project to over 7,000 entrepreneurs at Startup Grind, one of Silicon Valley’s most exclusive conferences, on February 13th-14th.
We are also excited to announce that Olympus has been given the opportunity to have our official MOT launch party in Los Angeles during NBA All-Star Weekend February 15–18 at the Silicon Beach Digital event hosted by NBA all-star veteran Baron Davis, as well as many other NBA players, celebrities, musicians, athletes, and press. In addition to the activation opportunities such as hosting a workshop and having a booth during the 4-day invite-only event, Olympus will also be speaking on a panel during a private VIP brunch.
Because of the magnitude of these opportunities, we have decided to postpone our Global Blockchain Ecosystem Tour to Q3/Q4 of this year. By pushing our tour back, it will allow more time for our team to focus our efforts on maximizing these opportunities to the fullest extent.
Crowdsale Update:
Olympus had an initial fundraising goal of 65,000 ETH, but has since reduced that to 45,000 ETH as a result of the rise in price of Ether. Due to the success of our private and pre-sale rounds and the continued rise in the price of ether, we have decided not to have a public crowdsale.
Given that we have enough funding, we want to shift our efforts from fundraising to blockchain development, enterprise partnerships, and exchange listings. We at Olympus are so incredibly grateful for our community’s support and hope you guys will continue the journey with us to make an impact in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
To reward our loyal and supportive community members and those who can help Olympus grow, we have set aside a portion of MOT for the following two purposes: 1. We are planning on having an airdrop to reward community participation in our communities including Telegram, Reddit, Twitter, and other social media platforms 2. We are accepting email requests for allocations for those who have contributed to the community and those who have resources to help Olympus grow. More details will be released soon on the above two initiatives in separate announcements.
