What if we were born at the age of 35?
I was struggling with a serious health condition, now my perspective on life changed.
Funny, how perverse life can be. How traumatic and difficult experiences can change your life for the better. In my case, that was a serious, live threating health condition that unexpectedly happened to me a week after my 35th birthday.
A condition, in which the phrase “good luck” resonates profoundly deeper than ever before.
Since then, I’ve had many sleepless nights to think about my new, second life.
Here are some conclusions, that I wish to live by from now on (in no particular order):
- Don’t take your life for granted.
- Every day counts.
- Do something you believe in, something that makes you proud, something meaningful!
- Act, don’t wait till you’re ready.
- Be brave.
- Care for your closest ones and yourself.
- And last but not least: watch out what you give a f… about ;)!
For me, Omdena gives a chance to have a positive impact on our planet. A real opportunity to contribute, to do some good that matters and lasts… far beyond our lifetime. Corporations will not do it. I believe regular, passionate people like You and me will!
That corresponds to my values. I’m very happy to join the “Crops classification for World Food Program” challenge!
Thanks and don’t forget… enjoy life :)!
