DXdao decided to launch a second Omen Markets Competition in order to leverage the community to source good markets for Omen.
The proposal to run another “DXdao Community Competition for Omen Markets — Batch #2” passed on May 22, and kicked off the competition which ran from May 23rd to June 8th, 2021.
There was strong community participation with over 160 market ideas entered into the competition. With so many interesting markets, it was up to REP holders to vote on the best markets.
The winning markets in order are:
- Will Aave’s Total Value Locked (“TVL”) on Polygon be greater than TVL on mainnet Ethereum at the end of July 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will xDai Chain become an Ethereum Layer 2 Chain (inheriting the security properties of mainnet) before November 1, 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will the Summer Olympics be completed successfully in Tokyo in 2021 with all planned events taking place before the end of August 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) have a discount to NAV at the end of August 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will the circulating market cap for xDai’s STAKE be over $100 million at the end of 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will Coinbase support withdrawals (for at least one asset) directly to Arbitrum Rollup at the end of 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will Chainlink’s LINK be in the top 15 by Market Cap on CoinGecko at the end of July 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will dYdX have a token live at the end of 2021? [Click here to go to market]
- Will the USD market cap of Ethereum be more than HALF of the USD market cap of Bitcoin at the end of July 2021? [Click here to go to market]
