We’re happy to announce the OMG Network Guide. This guide is an extensive non-technical introduction to the OMG Network, and is maintained by OMGPool and the community. It’s our goal to keep this collection up to date to reflect the current status of the OMG Network. Therefore, we also want to welcome contributions from the community and made the repository available on Github for everyone to help!
Guide
The guide will help people that are new to the community to get to know the OMG Network. The vision, history, and basics of the network are outlined first so that people can get started on learning everything they need to know.
Deep Dive
With many blockchain solutions being developed in several communities, it’s hard not to get lost in the jungle of technical details and buzzwords (sharding, Plasma, state channels, child chains, side chains, etc.). The deep dive sections are meant to bring you a bit further into the specific solutions of the OMG Network while keeping it accessible for the common reader.
Resources
We included several resources (videos, links, glossary) so that people can refer to other websites and material to further their understanding of the technology.
Contribute
This guide and its content are produced and reviewed by the community, with the help of OMGPool, and anyone is free to contribute. Visit this page for more information on how to help and get your name on the list of contributors!
