Omidyar Network and Carrot are thrilled to announce the esteemed expert panel of judges for The Future of Data Challenge, who have committed to using their knowledge, experience, and expertise to score submitted ideas and share valuable feedback with applicants.

The Future of Data Challenge will award $1.1M for up to 10 transformative ideas aimed at reimagining the data economy and responsibly activating a more equitable data future for all. Innovators, activists, designers, researchers, risk-takers, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, trusts, governments, and others, from every corner of the globe, are invited to help identify ideas that drive us toward a fundamentally different data future focused on the following three areas:

  1. Activism & Awareness
  2. Evidence, Design & Technology
  3. Governance & Policy

Registration is required in order to participate. Participants must register by Thursday, August 25 at 3:00 PM PT and apply by Thursday, September 15 at 3:00 PM PT to be considered.
