OMMG Staking

We want to do our best to make holding an Old Master Meme NFT as attractive as possible. Outstanding art itself is great, yes — but modern art NFT drops require some DeFi mechanism behind. That’s why we developed a mechanism allowing OMMG NFT holders to earn rewards based on staking at unic.ly.

What’s the foundation for the staking program?

1. First of all, 50 OMMG NFTs will be fractionalized on unic.ly. We are already in touch with the unic.ly development team to use their upcoming v2. After depositing the NFTs into the fractionalized vault, the corresponding ERC-20 tokens — called uOMMG — will be kept by the OMMG treasury.
2. The next step is the research phase; We’ve got some highly capable analysts in the OMMG team that will scout for new NFT artists out there. Like football clubs try to find the next Ronaldo at a young age, we’ll try to find artists before they become popular.
3. Finally, when we find a promising artist, we’ll buy her or his NFTs from the secondary market. The purchased NFTs will then be put into the Unicly collection so that the value of the fractionalized vault should increase in value with every NFT being added.

Disclaimer: Of course, we can’t guarantee value appreciation. NFTs, the same as cryptocurrencies, are very volatile. You should not consider the fractionalized collection as an investment.

How to stake and be rewarded?

The number of shares each staking wallet address / NFT gets is based on each NFT trait’s rarities. These rarities are combined to a rarity score per NFT and summed up to a score per wallet address.

Based on that score every month we give out a part of the uOMMG tokens of the pool. The uOMMG tokens can then be traded (as they are normal ERC20 tokens) or collected and then used on a farm.

Additional Rewards by using Unic Farms

Our goal is to be approved for a farm on unic.ly where everyone can add uOMMG tokens together with liquidity (USDT).

The farm will generate xUnic tokens for each liquidity provider based on the amount of the provided liquidity. The xUnic tokens themselves can be restaked to get more xUnic tokens, which then can be harvested and sold after a time to get a passive monthly income.
