The announcements were made at Shopify Unite 2019, the company’s fourth installment of its annual partner and developer conference.

For Merchants

Shopify’s message to merchants is that if you send products to the fulfillment network, the company will take care of the rest. It aims to provide two-day shipping within 99 per cent of the continental United States.

For Developers

Shopify has also released Shipping and fulfillment APIs and the Shopify Embedded App SDK. for developers, with which merchants can show custom shipping rates at checkout, or register an app as a store’s fulfillment service and then manage its fulfillments.

  • Manage Returns and exchanges
  • Custom kits and product packaging
  • Works for merchants shipping 10 to 30,000 products a day
