Welcome to the first Omnitude dev diary!
We’ve been hard at work working on both Omnitude Core and Omnitude ID.
Here at the Omnitude HQ we wanted to give our community an insight into what we are working away on behind closed doors.
We will be releasing these diaries as we slug away, to help include you in what we’re fixing, implementing and what is coming up in the future. Over the last two weeks, the team has been working to move to a new database system and testing our demo to ensure everything is working the way it should.
Some new features that have been implemented (we’re still working on them) are:
Wallets — We’ve added an ability to have other tokens in the system though our default will be ECOM.
Messages — The team has been working on API implementations for being able to send and store messages via blockchain which will have various utilities for users of the eco-system in the future.
Managed/integrated devices — We’ve added the ability to have devices associated with your OID, we’ve also added the ability to have ‘supported devices’ so it might just be a select few devices we use. This has a huge array of potential but as with the rest of the feature is still at the internal testing stage.
Significant work has been seen progressing on administration functionality as well as making it easier to use. This is a very complex area as it controls a lot of what OID users can see and do. An average user wouldn’t see this area of the system.
We’ve been working more on microtransaction and how they work on Stellar as well as configuring the bridge server to be effective within the system.
Finally, there has of course been various bug fixes, and quality of life fixes.
This brings us to the end of this update, we’re working on a lot of areas from coding to visual and UI improvements and we’re excited to get it into your hands so you can get a feel for what we’re making and contribute.
Let us know what you’re most excited about on our Telegram.
