Community Call Highlights
The very first Community Call following the launch of Omnity focused on the roadmap for 2024.
- Omnity will maintain a fully on-chain, trustless Bitcoin asset hub with the ability to send all kinds of Bitcoin assets like BTC, Runes, Ordinals, and other potential tokens, to all blockchains.
- Both the correctness and the liveness of the cross-chain processes are guaranteed. Users won’t need to rely on operation maintenance work from the team to transfer their assets between blockchains — and the right to claim back their assets to the original blockchain will be fully guaranteed at all times.
- Omnity can immediately support Tendermint-based, Substrate-based, and Polygon CDK-based blockchains, with plans to include OP stack-based L2s.
- The merits of Omnity’s interoperability are minimized cost and latency; full on-chain verification and relaying; mutual and reliable security; and persistent token fungibility.
- Omnity’s governance and utility token, $OT, will be released in Q4, granting voting rights via $OT SNS staking.
$OT Airdrops will be rewarded to both holders of $RICH on ICP and to the most active Red Envelope users who send out Red Envelopes bringing more users to the app. Read more…
