Omny Available on Ford SYNC AppLink!

Start your engines, Ford fans — we’re excited to announce that Omny is an Australian launch partner of Ford’s SYNC AppLink! This means that we are one of the first apps available on the the newly launched connected driving experience. SYNC AppLink is a new addition to Australian Ford cars, allowing drivers to use compatible iOS and Android smartphone apps, with a variety of steering wheel mounted buttons as well as voice control.

We spent the day doing press demos and showing off exactly how Omny perfectly integrates with Ford cars — it looks pretty great! You can now listen to your personalised Omny stations, catch the weather and stay up to date in your car, hands free. Ford SYNC AppLink is currently available on the Focus ST, Fiesta ST, and Ford Kuga range and will roll out across the Fiesta, Focus, EcoSport, Ranger and Transit range by early 2015.
