Apple Podcast Consumption Analytics Launched

Omny clients can now track and report consumption data from streamed plays of podcast episodes listened through the Apple Podcasts app using a new proprietary Omny Studio analytics algorithm. Results from the Beta release show that roughly 30% of all Apple Podcast plays can be tracked. The report shows where listeners listened or skipped, as well as where listeners started and stopped, within 30 seconds accuracy. This information will be displayed in Omny Studio’s upgraded consumption analytics portal.
