Podcast Discovery Feed Launched
The Discovery Feed was created to combat one of the biggest problems that podcasters face… exposure to new listeners! Its sole aim is to help podcasters to get their show out there to new audiences.
The Discovery Feed works like any other RSS feed. Listeners subscribe to the feed through iTunes or their chosen podcast app. Each week, the feed refreshes with brand new podcast content that’s personalised to their preferences.
The actual episodes within the feed are pretty special. First you’ll hear a 40 second promo for a show. If you like the sound of it, you can go ahead and listen to that show’s most recent full episode. If not, you can skip over it to the next one. The coolest part is: you can vote
OR
no to each different show. The more you vote, the more personalised your next week’s batch of new podcasts will be.
