After six and a half years of designing digital products with our partners in San Francisco, O/M has opened a second location in New York City! It’s a big deal. But it also feels so logical. Here’s why.
We’re excited to expand our reach
We’ve been fortunate to partner with some of the most innovative companies in the world. Together with our partners, we’ve designed over 60 products used by tens of millions of people.
Our goal is to leverage this experience and expertise in order to build a new foundation in New York. While this is a new endeavor in a new city, our mission will be the same — to help companies design and launch world class digital products and services.
We have the right leadership
Lisa Adang, our Managing Director, will lead the New York studio. Over the past two years, Lisa has dedicated herself to strengthening O/M both operationally and creatively. Since joining, she’s worked side-by-side with O/M’s founder, Rob Young, to set the vision and pace in San Francisco.
O/M Senior Designer Jason Amor will join Lisa on the New York team. After working closely together in San Francisco, Lisa and Jason will be building a New York team that reflects O/M’s values and mission.
We have a solid foundation
We’ve learned a lot after six years of operating as an independent studio in San Francisco. Our business has never been stronger, and we have a multi-disciplinary team capable of designing world-class products.
While O/M is setting a new foundation in a new city, this is a homecoming for Lisa, who will be reconnecting with colleagues and friends in her hometown.
What’s next?
Any creative studio is only as good as the people and partnerships it retains. We’re excited to make our services more accessible to companies on the east coast and to re-join the creative community in New York City.
