Immigrant — Belly (feat. Meek Mill, M.I.A)

Immigrant is filled with commentary on how foreigners and minorities are treated in the US. This is a collaboration I would’ve never expected, but a greatly appreciated one as the three artist bring personal thoughts and insights on how they’ve been treated to the table. This song is a stance of opposition against all the anti immigration movements going on in the US today. — Kevin Cabiedes

Rich Black Man — Ralo

There’s very few things in Hip Hop more sacred than a southern rapper on a chopped up soul sample, and Ralo took us to church with this one. A slowed down sample of Michel’el’s “Something in my heart” plays with booming 808s while Ralo questions why authorities target him; asking if the target on his back is a result of racism, islamaphobia, envy, or a mixture of the three. Do yourself a favor and check out the rest of Ralo’s mixtape Conspiracy after you finish this track. — Gio Gonzalez

Biggest Alley OOP — Quavo Huncho

Atlanta rapper Quavo recently dropped QUAVO HUNCHO, filled with the Atlanta “QC” feel. “Biggest Alley Oop” starts off the project and is by far my favorite track on the album. Producer Cubeatz snapped with a classic type sample and they did a very good job fusing that hot Atlanta trap beat. Quavo’s solo project was all around what I expected, it left me with good taste in my mouth. — Antonio Garcia.
