Section 5: Trades

✍️ Trade Process

  1. Once a verbal trade agreement has been made, both parties proceed to make the trade official by one of the following two mechanisms:
    (a) Submit and accept the trade through Yahoo
    (b) If Yahoo system prohibits the trade to be processed instantaneously, both managers must message the commissioner, who will manually push through at earliest convenience. The trade is considered official at the time the commissioner is messaged by both parties.
  2. Once the trade is made official, the trade is locked. Without submission into Yahoo (1a) or message to the commissioner by both parties (1b), the trade is not official, and parties are not bound to the verbal agreement in private channels. (Announcing a trade in #trade thread does not make it official.)

🤝 Trade Rules

  • Trade Deadline: TBD
  • No trade veto, no trade review
  • Trades are made official when trades are accepted on Yahoo (1a), or if commissioner is messaged by both parties (1b)
  • FAAB money is a trade-able asset. (Ex: Trade Romo for Bledsoe + $50 FAAB)
  • Fantasy players and FAAB may not be held as leverage for personal bets and wagers.
  • Conditional trades are prohibited. Trades are freeze-frame transactions, independent of other conditions (i.e. rentals, conditional outcome exchanges).
  • Managers cannot trade players who have already contributed points to the active week.

Section 6: Waiver

  • Waiver Time: 1 day
  • Type: FAAB w/continual rolling list tiebreak
  • Budget: $100
  • Waivers: Game Time — Tuesday (subject to change if NFL scheduling modified)

Section 7: Playoffs

  • Playoff Weeks: 14–16
  • Tie-breaker: Total Points For
  • Top 6 record teams qualify for playoffs
  • Top 2 record teams get 1st round BYE
  • Last place is determined by manual consolation bracket
  • Last place team: pays for trophy shipping + engraving plaque

Section 8: Fair Play

  • If there is hint of collusion, managers are responsible to protest to commissioner(s)
  • Collusion Penalty: $100 fine (added to pot) and teams involved become ineligible to win any form of payout
  • Collusive trades or roster dumping (adding/dropping) will be reversed.
  • Commissioner(s) will determine course of action with colluding teams’ rosters for rest of season. (Ex: Commissioners can decide to freeze roster for rest of season, or reverse any subsequent transactions involved with players in collusion)
  • Managers involved in collusion will lose control over their roster.

Section 9: Commissioners

  • Escalation Process: If commissioner is not available to address an issue, then the commissioning responsibilities will fall to ______ (TBD).
  • Any grey areas not explicitly covered in these rules will be subject to the discretion of the commissioner. The commissioner has the right to add, change and enforce rules as needed to maintain the spirit of the game.
  • There may be new issues that need addressing as the season goes on. We will address these as they come up.
  • If you have reasonable grounds that a commissioner is involved in collusion, notify ______ (TBD).

Section 10: Notable COVID Impacts

  • 3 IR Spots Added (for COVID designated players only). Any NON-COVID related IR placement will result in $5 fine in prize money and the player will be returned back to normal lineup. (1st infraction penalty $5 → 2nd is $25 → 3rd is $50, etc.)
  • COVID players on IR are not trade-able.
  • In the scenario that a team is forced to forfeit their game, players on those teams that were started in fantasy lineups will end up contributing points they generated in that game if it stopped mid-way, or end up with 0 points if the game never even started.
