The theme of week 10’s power ranking’s is…Stock Report. Which key players rose or slid in value & production?

1. Knockn On Evans Door (↔️)

Record: 9–1
Stock Down: Cooper Kupp
Which is more shocking? That Danny’s team still posted a league-high 184 points the past week, despite Kupp getting shut out against the Steelers (4 targets, 0 receptions), or that…Kupp got shut out?

Road Goff widens the range of Kupp’s outcomes. Looking at Kupp’s matchups in the playoffs, he faces two away games @DAL in week 15, and @SF in the championship week. It is nearly impossible that Kupp will hit 0 again, but Road Goff introduces risk for a lower floor.

2. Revenge of Charky (↔️)

Record: 7–3
Stock Up: Golden Tate
Tate must have heard Benny declare him “washed”. Since that statement, Tate has had:

  • 2 top-10 weekly finishes (WR7, WR8)
  • 2 top-24 weekly finishes (WR18, WR22)

With the Giants offense going nowhere, game scripts are on Tate’s side. His route tree is user-friendly to Danny Dimes. Even with other weapons potentially returning, Tate should have a high floor role with the occasional RZ surprise.

3. Parris Hilton (↔️)

Record: 6–4
Stock Up: Melvin Gordon
Melvin now has three rushing TD’s over the last two games, and Thursday’s 100-yard effort was the first of the season. Melvin has also encouragingly logged at least 20 carries in back-to-back games, which bodes well for the future. This outcome was intentional since the Chargers changed offensive coordinators to place more emphasis on the running game.

4. ReleaseMe (↑2)

Record: 5–5
Stock Up: Derrick Henry
This team is my pick for the dark horse. And it starts with Sammy’s workhorse, Derrick Henry.

Henry is the type of back who, the more you lean on, the better he gets. Henry provided evidence of that with a 68-yard touchdown run in the second half. When Henry is rolling, the Titans can be a competitive team that opens up big plays in their offense. Continue doubting him as his previous boom-bust RB2 self at your own risk.

5. Hyde Yo Chubb (↔️)

Record: 6–4
Stock Down: Chris Godwin
In the first half of the season, Godwin was looking like the clear alpha in the Bucs passing offense, posting three consecutive 100+ yard efforts before the bye.

After the bye, Arians has Winston spreading the ball out and opting for further downfield shots. As a result, Godwin has yet to surpass 75 yards in the past three weeks. Without the ceiling he once possessed, Godwin’s early season expectations may need to be tempered.

6. pop_$ecret (↑3)

Record: 5–5
Stock Down: Darren Waller
Waller checked in tied for second in receptions and was third in receiving yards for the Raiders on the night, but it was still a disappointing performance when measured against the standard Waller set earlier in the season.

After notching at least 63 receiving yards in four of the first six games of the season, Waller hasn’t cleared three catches or 52 receiving yards in any of his last three games.

7. ZEKE is my cow (↔️)

Record: 5–5
Stock Up: Christian Kirk
Kirk’s receiving yardage the past week (138) was a career high and stood as the second 100-yard game of his career overall. He has curiously alternated between single- and double-digit targets across his seven games this year. This pattern might continue with 49ers defense on deck next week, but when the Cardinals have a WR-friendly matchup, it looks like Kyler knows who he wants to target.

8. Vincent’s Team (↓4)

Record: 5–5
Stock Up: Joe Mixon
It was just a couple weeks ago, when Mixon was struggling to produce more than 25 yards from scrimmage. Enter a daunting Ravens matchup, Mixon ends up with 151 yards from scrimmage (114 rushing, 37 receiving). The Bengals seem intent on feeding Mixon, in order to hide the rookie Ryan Finley. Mixon’s dual threat as both a runner and security blanket in the passing game was realized against a stingy defense.

9. SBBEndgame (↓1)

Record: 5–5
Stock Up: Robert Woods
Once again, nobody saw Kupp getting shut out, and Woods nearly surpassing 100 yards against the Steelers. If there’s one matchup the Steelers bleed points, it’s the slot.

This is the third time Woods has seen double digit targets, which is the most encouraging sign. While there is nauseating volatility with Goff, the absence of Cooks opens the door for potential (relatively speaking) spike weeks.

10. Revenge of the Cooks (↔️)

Record: 4–6
Stock Up: Kareem Hunt
It’s clear based upon Sunday’s usage that the Browns regard Hunt as their passing-down back: Hunt played 38-of-66 (58%) of the team’s offensive snaps and scored 14.4 PPR fantasy points, which was slightly more than Chubb.

With the Browns opting to field both Hunt and Chubb in multiple running back packages, there may be room enough for two potential fantasy RB2's to exist. A determining factor of who takes the lead role could come down to game flow: if the Browns are down, Hunt should see more work.

11. why so derrius? (↔️)

Record: 4–6
Stock Down: David Johnson
The Cardinals backfield has become a committee, despite DJ owning a RB1 workhorse role early in the season:

  • Kenyan Drake: 63% snaps, 10 carries, 7 targets
  • David Johnson: 45% snaps, 5 carries, 1 target

DJ has been relegated to a RB2/Flex role with a wide range of outcomes, as Drake seems to have taken on a bigger role as the lead back in the committee.

12. James White Claw (↑2)

Record: 3–7
Stock Up: Ronald Jones
On Saturday night, I had a dream that RoJo would have one rushing TD and catch 8 passes. Enter week 10, RoJo ticked both boxes.

Even though Peyton Barber will never go away, RoJo notably ran a career-high 24 routes and caught all 8 of his targets. Previous to this game, RoJo had averaged 7 passing routes per game. Enter week 10, RoJo ran 25 passing routes.

13. ████████████████ (↓1)

Season Record: 3–7

███████████████████████.

14. Leegion of Boom (↓1)

Record: 3–7
Stock Up: Kenyan Drake
Drake’s stock shot straight up with the Cardinals trade, and it appears that his appreciation in value is here to stay, even with DJ active. Looking at snaps, routes run, carries, targets, Drake outpaced DJ in every category in a close contest against the Bucs.

Drake is also capable of the PPR fever dream, producing 6 receptions for 6 yards.
